Should you become a Partner?

We welcome substantive partnerships with federal disaster management and public health agencies with emergency support functions or roles, as well as with for-profit corporations, foundations, educational and research institutions, associations and other nongovernmental organizations.

Benefits of Partnership
National VOAD Partners enjoy full access to the programs and membership activities of National VOAD. This includes participation on committees, task forces and at the annual National VOAD Conference, access to training events and materials, and inclusion in pertinent planning discussions with government agencies. Within these venues, Partners have the opportunity to impact the development of policies, standards and program related procedures connected with disaster response and recovery. Participation at conferences provides Partners with full access to the National VOAD general membership, including representatives of state and local VOADs.
When disaster strikes, many of our Partners also work beside our members on response or recovery missions. Partners are invited to report information on their actions which we include in our reports to members, the emergency management community, and share with the communities we serve.
We promote positive national recognition and exposure for our Partners among the VOAD network and the national disaster response and recovery community.
