Committee Functions & Purpose

Since the founding of National VOAD in 1970, many lessons have been learned, skills developed and best practices shared. This has resulted in the establishment of Points of Consensus and other protocols for guiding our individual and collective work. One way that National VOAD finds these solutions is through the work of our committees. Members and Partners gather around topical issues and programmatic activities to improve the delivery of services throughout the disaster cycle, and to further create a climate for cooperation.
