18th Annual Conference- Workshop Proposal form is now available - Monday, November 02, 2009 National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (National VOAD) is pleased to announce this call for proposals for our 18th Annual National Conference, to be held May 11 -13, 2010 in Orlando, Florida.   We seek presenters with expertise, best practices and innovative solutions to challenges in all phases of disaster and disaster-related services and issues. 2010 National VOAD Awards- the nomination form is now available - Tuesday, October 20, 2009 The National VOAD Board invites all National and State/Territorial VOAD Members to submit nominations for the 2010 Annual VOAD Awards, to be presented at the Awards Banquet at the Annual VOAD Conference in Orlando, Florida on May 11, 2010.  The awards recognize organizational and individual excellence and contributions that reflect the best of the best in service and support within the National VOAD network and disaster services. We highly encourage our state and territorial VOADs to distribute this packet to their members and local VOADs so that they may have the opportunity to participate in this process.
